HOTVET Financial Advisors provides hourly, as-needed, financial advice to individuals and families. There are no investment or net-worth minimums required.

As a fee-only financial advisor, I am completely independent. I work solely for my clients. I do not sell products nor do I receive commissions or third-party referral fees. This allows my clients to receive objective financial advice, without con- flicts of interest regarding compensation.

Prior to founding HFA I had two successful careers. For twenty years I was a pension actuary and consultant. I worked with large corporations designing, implementing, and administering their employee retirement programs (defined benefit pension plans, 401(k) savings plans, profit-sharing plans, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, …). I then switched from the “liability” side of retirement issues to the “asset” side. For the next eleven years I worked for three institutional investment management firms. During these years I traveled the country meeting with the Chief Investment Officers and Directors of Pensions for some of the most sophisticated endowments, foundations, and corporate pension plans in the country.

I founded HFA out of a desire to help individuals and families in an area in which I have great professional experience and great personal passion and interest.

Working with HFA – I offer a free initial half-hour consultation. There is no obligation. This gives everyone the opportunity to see if we will work well together. During this initial consultation, clients can decide on the services desired and receive an estimate of fees for the chosen service.
